| Flyin' Around ![]() | i flew at a imac contest in oct. and asked a lot of questions but not this one. there was not a edge 540 in the group. im int the market for a 35% and i can get a cardan 35% edge highly modified in the bones pretty cheap. |

| Thanks for the Support! ![]() | From what i understand, when you get to the upper levels of IMAC, the edge dosen't snap as well as say an Extra or a YAK. I believe this is a result of the straight leading edge. But for general Flight, Edges rule, and for 3D they are amazing. I have a 30% edge (KMP) with a DA 50, its 15.3 lbs and is AMAZING. Hope that helps a little. ![]()

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | They don't snap well at all and that straight leading edge makes it easier for judges to think your line is off. I haven't seen an Edge perform well in precision competitions pretty much ever...

| A fifth of Peter. ![]() | Stall maneuvers are also tough, when that straight wing stalls it doesn't break, it just mushes forward. Makes it tough to do the required spin maneuvers, I have to coax mine into it with rudder, where as my Cap will go much more smoothly into a spin.
