I've seen the H9 do IMAC and 3-d........it also floats on landings and is very tame.

I have never seen it do a spin though.....blender yes.

I would think with proper setup this plane would be fine. Lets face it.....if you don't practice and you don't fly straight lines you won't win anyway.

Hey Shaun,
Up in here in the high desert we have a JR pilot that flys a H9 ult.
He flies Unlimited with it.
I have flown it several dozen times and it flies great. Here is his setup.
H9 unlitmate
DA 150 with KS 1090 pipes 11" headers Mej 32X10 prop.
One 8611 each aileron being replaced by one 8711 each
One 8611 each elev. being replaced by one 8711 each
Three 8611 ganged in the tail of the plane for rudder being replaced by 2 8711
Two 4.8V 3600 Mah Nimh rx packs one 4.8V 2700 Mah ign. pack
One 955 RX. Match boxes for ail only.
Plane comes out at 41+ with this setup.
Vertical is enough for Unlitimed at 5,500 MSL with density alt. of over 9,000 in the summer.
Plane will do light 3D but that envelop has not been tested. The pilot is hard core precision. He will torque roll harrier blender on occassion.
I typically fly the advanced sequence with the plane and it is great.
Hope this helps. No vid as it would be just like watching a contest.
BTW Knife Edge is done with about 1" of rudder.

Well. There was a miss-hap to the plane as the owner was bringing the plane up.

Ended not getting the Ultimate. I love the looks of the bipes, guess it just wasn't meant to be?
I just got a extra 300 from Tom at Wild Hare instead. Great looking plane I think I'll be happy with this one as well.

Thanks for all the input...

Hmm, thought i responded to Steve. No i did not gap seal the lower wing. I doubt i could tell a difference and so far, no issues with covering. Maybe some with alot of flights can chime in..
