As for answering my question, no one has done so, they have merely given an opinion. There are other considerations, as set forth in the rules, that apply, starting with 6.1.d, 6.2 (third sentence), and portions of 6.3.

I'm all for giving a pilot the "benefit of the doubt", but if the technical presentation of a spin does not at least closely resemble what a spin is supposed to look like, and deviates into something else, I see no reason to score it as a spin.
I need to make a correction here. . There is NO stipulated size to the aerobatic airspace. there is only the "suggestion" to the CD that they have a minimum of 2000x2000 feet of available overfly area for the pilots to fly in, for EACH flightline. This year the only limitations on overflight are if you can still see the plane. . and how much you want a zero for being so far out on the ACS score.

Kris - agreed on the "no spec of the airspace". Based on the comments of yesterday referring to such a spec I went throught botht the 07 AMA Scale Aerobatic rules and the IMAC "unofficial" F&JG and there is not spec. If there is supporting documentation that makes the suggestion to CD's would you please point out where it is. Not being picky, would just like to know.
Thanks
