I've only screwed it up once.

Whats to hate?
If you snapping correctly, its going to displace. Some snaps more than others.

I love displacement - nothing looks cooler than flying a crosswind upline, snapping with the wind, having the plane displace what seems like 3 wingspans and BAM - it stops on a parallel track. Outstanding!

Correct, is there a downgrade for practicly no displacement? The way i've been practicing my snaps makes them finish on the same line with no nose displacement if I hit it like I want to.

True that brutha! Thats when I do love displacement, I just want to learn to have control of displacement wether its rudd displacement on upline into the wind or no displacement on level snaps, ya know?

Ya thats true. We cant talk about all of my over or under snaps though. There isnt enough bandwidth here.

The 3D maneuever was definately one for the memory books.

No.
But its going to be hard to have a snap look like a snap and have it stay on the same line as entry.. Like I said earlier, some snaps are more prone to visable displacement.

Do a half snap.... it has to displace laterally. If not, it wasnt a snap.

ya, u right, i think i mean to say atitude displacement, instead of distance displacement, like this years split S, 1 1/2 pos. to inverted then plull, i see guys do the snap and end up nose down for the radius and then pullin it through, i like to hit the snap and BAM, stop it with the plane completly level w\ out any extra pushing THEN pull the radius...i've always wondered is there a deduction for hittin that snap and also startin the radius at the sametime since the nose is down?

There aint no way gettin around the half snap, its goin to displacement no matter what unless you get a goose egg

I have flown this 08 sequence a few times now, we are flying both the 07 and the 08 sequences at our final competition of the year here in Australia in two weeks time.

I find the 08 sequence quite enjoyable to fly, it is nice and compact compared to the 07 and not as 'power hungry'.
The double negative snap isnt really an issue at all. As long as you do a 'proper' snap and keep some down in through the whole roll the model will be pitching up as it goes through inverted bringing the nose back on line.
I have found that you do need to get off that down elevator right at the end and give a tiny bit of up and oppy rudder to make it look nice and clean out the other end.

Now the loop..... well for me that is a lot harder! The roller is also gving me a little bit of troule in the second half. Should be a good laugh to watch me fly this sequence in 2 weeks!!

Is there a written version of the unlimited sequence out there? I just want to make sure I am doing the maneuvers correctly when I start practicing them.
Wayne, what Sim are you using?
