| craigk ![]() | This year, for Sportsman, I'm going with the Katana, DA 100 what advice towards JR Matchbox, Smartfly Equalizers, Smartfly power or what to manage the servo throws? I am planning on Hitec 5625s x 4 for ailerons, and 5645 x 2 for elevators. One small step for you all, one giant leap for Craig ![]()

| Inverted over Whidbey Island ![]() | Welcome to Sportsman and Giant Scale Craig! Matchbox or Smart-fly are both good choices. I use 3 matchboxes.....1 for each aileron (this way you can program differential with the radio). I use 1 matchbox on the rudder. For 35% planes I normally didn't run a powerbox.......though now Smart-fly has the new EQ-6. I still prefer to not put my elevators on any kind of matchbox. That way if I want to fine tune the travel between elevators I can do it from my radio. |

| craigk ![]() | I'm going with a DX7 and AR7000 receiver, so I might be able to get away with two matchboxes (ailerons) and then mix the elevators through the radio I have a 5745 for rudder which should be ample.- thanks
