I don't see why you should lose points because somebody else doesn't have a membership. That just doesn't make sense at all. If competing against them does not count, than either force membership to compete(only $20 right?) or don't let them compete.

I am providing a link to the points rules. Please take a moment of your time and read them word for word. If your respective region is not following these rules than you need to contact your Regional Director. These rules are to be followed Internationally! Note the word, Standardized!

This is a new system for Regional Points that was implemented this year.
The fact that there is some confusion as to the details is not a big deal.

Discussions like this will get everyone on the same page.

Kent,

I think most people understand what is stated in that link.
It does not address counting a non-imac member as a beaten pilot.

9 pilots fly
3 are not IMAC members
Does the winner who is an IMAC member get points for beating 8 pilots or 5?

To me it should be as follows:

Kurt & Wayne should each get an extra 15 points for beating all 3 of the non-IMAC members

Will Should get an extra 10 points for beating 2 of the non-IMAC members

Ken and Mike H. should each get an extra 5 points for beating only 1 of the non-IMAC members

Larry's scores is already correct

After hand calculating the raw scores, normalizing them, and them adding who beat who it looks like the final scores should be:

Kurt - 1040.00
Wayne - 1009.13
Frank - 0.00
Will - 985.22
Mike M. - 0.00
Ken - 930.82
Mike H. - 849.52
Jason - 0.00
Larry - 815.17

What this shows is that the regional scores are calculated correctly EXCEPT they are not picking up the points for non-IMAC members. Wayne is correct.

My bad... I didn't look at the final results. I just looked at the regional standings. Sorry!

I think you should be talking to the CD of the contest.
There could be glitch in scoring system. Which scoring system is being used?

The CD of the contest doesnt have anything to do with totalling the Regional points.

CD of the contest is responsible for the points (Acurate)to be send to your Regional Director.
Now I went back and look at the score sheet where all the three pilots had 00000, points.
Could it be that those pilots did not fly? If that is the case you can not count them in the Class.
I have CD 13 contests and I always double check the figures before I send them to our Regional director.
