They eventually joined and then were given credit in the points race for ALL of the contests that they had flown that year. Membership or not.
I didnt think that was right.

Wayne do you want me to give the trophy back?

Sorry Wayne, I have an excel program that computes this an I must have turned off the multiplier. Even I can make mistakes. Go figure... No pun intended.

Bob Hudson our RD made up this sheet. (the one I posetd in this thread)

The score sheet from the contest that was turned in by the CD is this one.

Wayne, ( and everyone)

The Unlimited sheet for the North Central Unlimited ( qs well as the other classes) are the results from the new Points System spreadsheet for 2008.

It was agreed by all RD's that for consistency in IMAC this spreadsheet would be used across all regions. It was designed by someone in the SW Region.

There obviously seems to be a glitch in it's functionality. I'm sure it will be fixed in the near future.

Hang in there.

In the mean time, hopfully every contestant will join IMAC so we won't have this confusion any more. Also so us poor RD's won't have to check the current membership list every weekend to see who's current ( or not!! )

The new point system allows for two contests outside your region.
Mine will be the Nats and The Clover Creek contest.

Tucson is after our Regionals so its has never counted towards our points race.

So you are saying that Yes, you get the points for beating a non-imac member??

I think everyone is comfortable knowing that things will change if they are wrong on the sheet.
There just has been confusion as to how the Non IMAC guys would be handled.

Yes, Tucson is actually held after our regional contest because the regional contest is held the week before we go to Tucson but, according to the NC Regional "Rules" it should be counted because the rules state...

The Competition Season will run from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31st.

So, according to the rules, should it count or shouldnt it ?

Bob?
Tucson is an "invitational" ( by qualitfying points) contest. As such not all IMAC competitors will have the priviledge to attend and compete. No, Tucson will not count in the North Central Chamionship Points total.

Furthermore, since the ( NC) Regional final contest is designated as "The season Final" IT IS the season final!!
