| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | I don't see anything dangerous in that video. It was all done in a safe and professional manner. My favorite "freestyle" routines are 80% precision, maybe 5-10% hovering and a little harrier/ rolling harrier portions in there too. That video was good in my opinion. I think a freestyle show should include steady hovering and harriers, some good snap lines 1 1/2 to 1 to 1 3/4 snap rolls all on a -------------------------------------------- straight line, tumbles, etc. I do think that for a freestyle show to really be good though, you should show precision control. SLOOOOOOOOOOOW rolls, perfect point rolls, rolling circles, smooth knife edge. Rolling harriers are awesome, and any flier knows the skill that takes, but for the average non-flying minded spectator, circles and circles of consecutive rolling harriers, or continual hovering and TRing gets monotonous. I think you should try to mix it all in there and not do anything more that a few times. A good show with lots of variety is very safe and still demonstrates the wide variety of flying that takes place. Spectators should be shown all the amazing post stall flying that is possible, but also be presented with smooth "conventional" flying. Give em both, and its an awesome show. |
