Hello, I was wondering what types and size of planes are needed to get involved with IMAC? Is there a size limit, weight limit, plane type not allowed? I have been working on the sportsman seq and getting my 45 and stright lines tight. I have been flying in all types of wind up to about 15 mph just to get used to flying in varied weather, Haven't found a caller yet but trying to get my wife involved.

In Sportsman you have to fly a scale airplane. The rules allow just about any full scale but needless to say a Cub would not be your best choice. On size anything goes as long as it is 55lbs or less. Don't let guys flying sportsman with 40% ers worry you. The real goal of IMAC is to fly against yourself and as you have noticed make yourself a better pilot. You will be suprised how fast your flying skill improves. There is all the rules info and contest calander here. www.mini-iac.com Good Luck Jason |

I just started IMAC this year.... I love it... great flying and great experience.... One of the things I do as a caller and ask my caller to do for me is.....to remind the pilot to breathe!!! ![]() It is very exciting, challenging and fun!!
