Hey Chris..
Whats the next meet your gonna be at?

And, none of those maneuvers are roll critical. You can start those elements going either way but the opposite stuff just has to go the other way.

Hopefully it makes sense....

If there is one in your area... try to go to a Judging seminar at some point.. I learned quite a bit at the one I went to in Muncie....

and when you go to your first contest, you will realize how helpful and friendly everyone else is...

I just started out and I love it.. I have learned much this year and everyone has been VERY helpful..

As many said the roll direction in this year's sportsman sequence is usually pilot option depending on the way you wish to exit the manuver. With that said I'll share a trick I use as I like to do the humpty going away from me. On the 3/4 roll on the hammer I roll the direction I need to exit the manuver. Exit the hammer to the right roll right; exit the hammer to the left roll left. Works every time. On the 3/4 roll on the last manuver upline remember you want to see the belly of the plane before the top and that will tell you which way to roll. That will make you roll so you exit outgoing across the box every time. Try it....it's worked for me well in the 5 contests I've flown this year.
