Practice plane... Built up?

Saw the thread earlier about a built up stick plane.....

I'm looking for a decent, full fuse stick plane...
I know about Aero-tech and total composites and SA et. al. for profiles,
but would love a built up version...

anyone know of any online resources?

I have Pre-K or earlier building skills... so that really isn't an option...

I read about some Horizon Christmas ornaments, but can't find those....

any others??

Time I have.... its the skills I lack!
If i try to carve a fuse out of balsa it would end up looking like a bad pumpkin or something!!

curtis, its a way for you to "practice" building. if its all screwed up than give it to your son, he wont care. and do it again. its like IMAC, if you practice you should get better at it, at least thats the theory anyway.

well... I'm heading in to work in a few minutes.... maybe I'll pick up a block of balsa and start carving......

You pick up a heli yet?
and can you go to the Chicken Wing or are you stuck at school?

if you want it you can have my "H9 extra" ornament plane. its even already uncovered, I just never got around to refinishing it to look like my plane. it's all yours bro, see you at the 'wing

i got one. im trying to go to the wing but not sure. id love to go. hubb you got a new heli buddy! the only other advice (that i should follow also) is use sand paper to get a SWEET finish. a concept in not the most familiar with.

Im upgrading girlfriends this summer, to a newer, younger, better looking one! if i get arround to it.
