[quote=Fearless Flyer;133962]when I asked the seller about it he said that it floated like his Troy Built 42% with no bad tendencies at all. I also asked him about how bad the plane coupled in knife edge and he said it doesn’t have any bad flying characteristics and it was a straight as an arrow.

Of course he said that......he's selling it

Both planes will work just fine, provided the equipement is excellent, and you have the time on the planes, there's no substitute for the actual hands on expereince (Practice)with the airframe of your choice. I can remember Ron Storer's huge cap.. it flew flawlessly, and very stable, and predictable, however being a Aerotech 42% Velox driver for three years, and Stephen's two national championships.... the Velox is our go-to-bird.Happy Thanksgiving!

I got to talking to the seller some more and it turned out that the plane is a 3W 44% Cap. I don't know if this makes any difference or not but some people might be familiar with an existing company that makes an existing airframe.

Probably the most important thing to keep in mind is that they all fly like crap unless they are setup correctly. Any 40% plane pretty much will fly sweet, given the proper setup and the proper tuning.

Thanks for all the information. I decided to get the plane and give it a try. I will be picking it up tomorrow. I will start a new thread and post pictures there.
Thanks again
