Help! IMAC Minimum Size AC?

From Sportsman up, I understand the scale AC requirements but nothing is ever mentioned regarding size, at least as far as I've been able to find.

Is there a minimum size requirement for IMAC aircraft?

Earle

Nope..... any size goes... as long as it fits in the 10% scale rule.....

So something like this would be legal, eh? 47" span Extra 300 SHP, electric power.

I am NOT suggesting that this would be competitive, just wondering if a person could enter and fly an IMAC contest with it.

Thanks,
Earle

Yep, you can fly any class you want with that. As for the 10% rule, I think that if that rule was actually enforced, a large majority of the leading airframes out there wouldnt be allowed to fly... just my .02, but that rule being enforced seemed to die out back when the TOC ceased to exist.

Oops! My bad! Although, I will say, if you try to slap SFGs or something on the airframe, you probably wont be allowed to fly with them!

Well...I sure wouldn't have to worry about the noise levels Might even need to holler at the judges "WAKE UP" just prior to "In the box".

I've seen some SFG's on a Dalton. They were the clear ones just on the wingtips.

The ShowTime style SFG's are probably not allowed.

SFG's on the wingtip or middle of the wing are not allowed on any IMAC plane in classes above sportsman
