Quite to the contrary. Quite a few of them are full scale and aerobatic pilots.

Who the hell would fly RC toy airplanes when they could go fly full scale planes and actually go somewhere?

My question is, if you live here in the beautiful Northwest, why would you ever want to go elsewhere. Been there, done that for more years than I care to count. So I'm back, and don't need to leave God's country. Except once in awhile to verify that it is indeed God's country.

Very soon! For everyone's knowledge. I've got 2 35% planes up for sale on in the FG swapshop and some 40% AW Extra 260 parts. If they don't sell here locally in Vegas......they are for sale up North. Delivery is free to my new house.

Yes, they have been doing the exchange thing since the F-111 was retired. Hopefully the AF recognizes that we need these types of 2 person planes to do the job. The Navy doesn't plan to continue ground based EA-18 squadrons or the exchange and won't let the AF be on the boat.

Having spent 20 years of my life in the Navy, I can't say one way or the other that it is any more efficient or inefficient than any other branch of the service. But I do know that whether efficient, or inefficient, those in the armed services, no matter what branch, are there to make it possible for you and I to make any statement we like. Even bite the hand that feeds us if we are so inclined.

This thread was started to discuss IMAC Northwest, not pan anyone or anything. We are a loose group, and kid each other, sometimes without mercy. But always in an atmosphere of fun.

I meant nothing demeaning by my earlier post. I was under the impression that our new and most welcome member, was Navy due to the picture he displays. It was a normal question to ask when I was in the service. If I offended - I humbly apologize.

I don't have any answers but I know I get a lot of flak for a third, I can only imagine how much you get after a couple of wins. I know last year Nick S was tearing up Basic and then moved to Sportsman at Molalla. He'd be a voice with experience. The other point is this is the first year for Basic season points so maybe you can stay for one full sason???????? Anyway Major Smackdown I was just flippin you some crap, I'd love some cherries.
