Yes I have seen some of the best electrical rooms in some of the finest places! Vegas, Hawaii, Singapore.........funny, when surrounded by concrete walls and switch gear...the ambiance is just not the same.....

Flew the AW yesterday. Perfect day, great flights. Trim is coming around, looks like practice is the only needed ingredient..... yeah...

The 42% 260. Reeeeeeally nice flying plane. I am so glad I didn't sell it! It took a whole season of almost being inactive, but finally I have the IMAC and the freestyle planes back in order.

Mike glad to see your back in the Saddle. It wasn't the same last year with-out your you presents. We should get together over the winter and do some flying??? we could meet at Snohomish or even BellAir. You may want to come to BellAir, cause we're going to have a Contest their this year.

I'm also planning on having a BootCamp/Mini Imac Contest at BellAir in February. You may want to attend that and give me a hand.

What Class are you flying in next year ???

I also heard through the Grapevine that Whanachee is also going to be on the 2010 Schedule. I heard that's an awesome field.

Jerry

What is the boot camp going to entail? I should still be here for that. Will it be a judging school?

Hey thanks Jerry, nice to hear from you. I will fly Int. again as I hardly flew last year and hopefully I will get the time to fly allot next season. If I can arrange the time, it would be fun to attend the boot camp. Did you get your new plane finished? How about Chopstix? Wenatchee is a nice field. I am glad they'll be back in the hunt. I should probably check into CDing the Polar Bear this next season as it doesn't sound like Dan will be able to. I miss being involved, but not having the availability of a field really close makes it difficult to coordinate. We'll see....

As far as flying together goes, that would be awesome buddy. Hope all is well take care and we'll see you soon. I need to get freestyle music together...

Sam..

We're going to keep the BellAir BootCamp simple. We'll review the Basic and Sportsman Sequences, Talk a bit about Plane set-up, Judging, and talk a bit about what to expect at a Contest. Question and Hopefully answers. Then we'll proceed to the flight line and run a Mini-Imac Contest with Judges, keeping it very low key, but effective for all envolved. I hope to include the Lynden Flying Club in this Camp as well. I know there's some Imac interest there..

This will be more for the 1st time Basic Pilot and anyone showing some interest in maybe flying Imac.

Sam It would be great if you can make it. I know you flew Imac down South when you were living there. I have your Email # and I have you in my Contact list. I let you all know when we come up with a defenant date. I give you guys lots of notice.

Kieth our RD will be looking after the judging school. There's talk that we may have 1 school this year, keeping it central for all, so we can all attend at the same time. Rather than have a bunch of smaller schools. I personally think that's a Great idea and a lot of fun. We'll have to wait and see what Kieth comes up with. I would think the New 2010 NWest Schedule will be out shortly??

Well boys and girls...as you know but probably didnt care.......I had to come down to Vegas for a little work this week. Well, the work went fine and I was actually done for the day around 11:30 this morning. I really didnt want to go back to the hotel and having been born and raised here in Las Vegas, the gambling thing really doesnt do it for me (although I did manage to loose 20 bucks so far!).
I havent been out to good ole Bennet field since the TOC days and I knew from Giants that there were some GS groupies out there so I decided to take a ride on out and see if anyone was flyin and just basically shoot the S....
Well.....I knew I hit "the jackpot" (ok.....that will be my only vegas pun) when I rounded the corner and all these RV's were lined up at the field....looks like they got somethin goin on. Turns out this weekend is Sin City Jets.....a huge all jet fly in! Even for a Thursday there were tons of people and jets. My favorite was a Comp Arf Yak 55SP with a Turbo Prop. You'll see in the pics that it did not fare well in its second flight.....ouch! Anyway.......here is what I saw today. Too bad I have to leave tomorrow......I'm almost hoping one of my jobs goes bad so I have to stay the weekend!

P.S.......more pics to follow after a bit.....my connection is a little slow....
