I am considering the conversion for my 9C, but Darrin has the new 9303 set up with it and swears by it. He's been flying it with no problems. He says the response, especially far away, on snaps is fantastic. Dave V. is flying it with 2 recievers and sure likes it. It would sure be a comfort to know the signal inteference problem was all but eliminated. soon grasshopper...

Well guys the power went out at my house today so I used that as an excuse to get some flying. Five practice flights, feeling good! Not only that but when I got back my new batteries for my contest plane were in, so hopefully soon I'll be practicing with the real thing! Woohoo. I'm still doing my research on 2.4 and thinking of making the switch sometime in the near future. I like Spektrum and Futaba, though to be honest the Futaba setup still seems like PFM to me.

You just missed Darrin. He's on the way to the field now! How were your practice sessions? You are going to fly freestyle too at the Polar Bear, right? Let's get your plane goin man. You might need it this year. All you big dogs have some serious competition. As far as the 2.4 goes, I am still out on it too, for now. I will observe for awhile. I presume there will be allot more pilots flying it this year, so by half way through the season it should be better tested. By then, perhaps one of the systems will surpass the others, or... All in time my friend. Is your foamy ready to fly next month? If not here's a heads up....your gonna want to bring it. Were you able to reschedule your training, or are you locked in? Plan to fly Sunday if the weather is okay. Bring your arresti, I'll call for you.

We don't like you guy's over there on the coast talking about being out flying. We still have 6" of snow on the runway in Coerd'Alene. But that's ok the new planes not ready yet. I had to take last year off do to work issues but I'm going to be back this year I just hope I can remember how to fly. I only put three flights on the Yak all last year. By the way my Composite arf Yak airframe is for sale.
Glad your back Ryan but please tell me your flying unlimited.

Is the Farragut State park field still open? Has it thawed? After the Imac judging school in Spokane Dad and I were thinking of doing some flying in the Courd'aleane area. Does anyone around there fly RC planes?

Brad, what class are you flying in? Just kidding, yes I'm going to throw myself to the wolves in the big U this year. When I started I never thought I'd make it far enough to compete in Unlimited, so this is very exciting for me!

Mike, I think I'm getting worse the more I practice. Next time at the field I hope to bring out something diamond shaped and fast.

Brad, I just stoped by the field and about 80% of the runway is showing now. It's the foot and a half of snow drift in front of the pits that sucks now! Maybe we will get some more rain soon.

There you are Roman, good to hear from you. When is the Toledo show? Have you started my foamy yet? The clock is ticking. Lites...lites...lites...

We are gonna have a blast at the Poar Bear. If your wife will give you permission, then you should try to stay out with us. It's the least you can do for your country! Are you flying your sim? What class will you fly this season? Let's go pal, I want to see commitment.

Talk to you soon bud,
Rainman

Brad your coming to the Polar Bear right? How much for the air frame? I thought you flew it very nicely. Were you just bored with it, or why the change...? How's Jerry doing? Are you guys flying your sims?
