Brief report on Oly for Sat. - 10 pilots or more. Crappy weather, in & out of showers and windy quartering crosswind. good wind correction practice. Rainman maidened his Carden after an abundance of frustrating challenges. Georgeous plane & flew well. Rick Qed up burgs & brats (yum - thx Rick) It was fun hangin' with the guys for some no-pressure IMAC practice flights. I was only there for today so maybe one of the other guys will update after Sunday. How about Belair???

I was there on Saturday. Weather was much the same. Windy and rain on and off till about 4pm.

I did get a flight on the PAU 43% Edge though (Thanks Ken!).

Yeah the 4th was a lot better for weather versus Saturday. Plus I had a bit of a headache after representing for Team Caribou Lou on Friday night. I'm definitely making plans for next year's 4th at Bellair. Of course the weather started clearing on Saturday as soon as I loaded up my trailer to head home, so maybe next year I'll do everyone a favor and stay away from Bellair.

Oh, IMAC related - I did get a few practice rounds in between my Extra and the big Edge. Practice with my Extra at 7am on Friday morning followed by a few full throttle passes of Mejzlik-ripping DA sweetness is a very satisfying experience for me, not so much for those who were trying to sleep. I'm thinking there may be another Edge flying NW IMAC next year, we'll see about that. Heck I'd do it just because people say it can't be done.

Sounds like a good time!!! We had scarce sprinkles Saturday with a stiff south wind and today was a stiff north wind. Good practice though.

John I barely met ya.....but heard all the stories. And that wind must have been strong to move your tent to the runway from the Pits with you in it!
