Aron let's fly Wednesday night?? Tom can you make it???

You mean you don't want to trophy hunt like Smacky? OUCH...
Dude I only made it out of bed around 11. I didn't get to fly AT ALL today...What a bummer. Next time if the wife gives you permission to fly past noon then I'll be able to come out and meet you. Actually I'm not even gonna make plans with you anymore. I'll call her to see what your schedule is like. YAAAAOUCH

Condolences
For all of you who missed Snohomish, I would like to extend my sincere condolences. It was incredible and heartbreaking beautiful EVERY day! From early sunrise with a fine dew blanketing the field that left you feeling like you were in a movie in some exotic location, to the most brilliant sunsets I've seen this year, with lots of skydivers the whole weekend, these two days were truly epic!

We had, I believe 26 or 27 pilots and every class was very competitive. We actually didn't start flying till around 10 to 10:30 each day. Great time for socializing and having breakfast, etc... The hamburgers were like a half a cow, each one. Seriously thick and juicy and great hot weiner hot dogs.

There is outstanding talent in every class! Nick South won every round for a perfect score! Outstanding job Nick. Don't worry however cause the canucks are coming on! Every one of these guys has dramatically improved every time we see them again. They also keep us rich in America by buying our planes, eh! Ha! All I can say Nick, is Jerry got posessed and turned on flying this event. He really finished strong. And now Harv. Wow! His 42% is gonna rock. He has high aspirations and I am thinking he's going to go all the way. Bill Fong just keeps getting smoother and smoother every flight. These guys are bustling with eager talent. Fun.

Kyle #1 Freestyle followed by Mike C. and then Darrin. They all flew very, very well. Seriously, each of these guys has music literally flowing throught heir bodies into their sticks! It is AMAZING watching them. Fantastic job...

I'll let Bruce post the results, but everything could not have been more perfect. My compliments to Francis, Bruce, Shelly, Sue and everyone else who helped to see we had such a nice stay. We appreciate your first class hospitality.

Thank You.....

P. S. Rare sighting.... Sleeping Beauty was observed running.... Totally snapped out of trance he lives in... He was of course found to be normal.... Yes, all normal kids cave in to money.... He only stopped for 1 nap along the long trek up the side of the flightline to hastily then snatch the money from Francis hand as John Wondra waited in the bay, possibly planning a way to collect on a debt...! Yeah, victory for the sleeping giant.

Hey Nick where are you? You drove by me when I was jogging down 234th and you didn't even wave

..........Then again I didn't wave back but that's more of a safety precaution when you're jogging the mean streets of Bonney Lake.

Snohomish was good times - too bad for the keyboard jockeys that couldn't make it - I would look forward to another trip there myself - it would have been great to have more of you there - but I know - someone has to keep this thread going when the other pilots are at the contests.

I couldn't believe it - a contest where the directors recognized a value in waiting a little later in the morning to reduce the bright sunlight directly in our eyes - that was awesome - yes it made the day longer, but I'd vote for that again. It took a lot of pressure off to not worry about where the heck the plane is and what it's doing for those several seconds of blackout waiting for your pupils to dilate.

Very glad to see the canadians coming down and risking the border hassles to fill in the ranks of a couple classes and making for a good contest.

My sincere thanks to all of those who worked hard to make a very smooth and enjoyable event.

I thought that was you! Too late to wave by the time my tired ass figured out who I just recognised. I was taking my palace back to its hiding place about 1/2 mile from where I saw you. Team carabou lou was pretty lame at Snoho. In fact, totally absent!!!! But we did some ad-lib and had a blast anyway. It was our duty.

Snoho was fabuloso!!! Great time! Sky jumpers, paragliders, hot air balloons, wildlife, and even a full scale taxied out and took off from our runway and then did a low pass (6') flyby. Awesome event, perfect weather, super group of people, killer food and drink, great game of elephant, and, oh ya!!! - we also flew an IMAC contest thanks to Francis, Bruce, Shelly & Sue and all others that helped. Thank you!!!

Molalla Molalla calling Major Sandbagger, it is time to move up oh great whole wheat trophy hunter. I plan on moving up at Molalla and encourage you to do the same.. Think about it this way, I could finish last in Sportsman and still beat you if you were first in Basic. You couldn't let that happen could you??!!! We could fly basic on Thursday then Fri, Sat in Sportsman... Man up baby let's do this!!!

Devin

P.S. Ben I'm not even going to reply to your fever induced ramblings...
