Thanks for the great time at Snohomish. Had a blast. Sorry we had to zip out early. I didn't get home till 10:30 as it was. If you haven't registered for CDA yet please do so we can get a better idea for the dinner. Thanks.

First of all I would like to Thank all the American Pilots at all the events we attend. You have all welcomed us with open arms in all different aspects of the contests. You have spent time with us and explained set-up for our planes, SOLD us planes, walked us through manuervers and sequences the list goes on & on.

Like Mike R said were coming along.

This was my 6th contest, when I first started flying Imac I was pulling off 0 to 2000 max raw scores in my sequences. Now with all the support from you guys and practicing our mistakes that the judges pick up on, this has brought our raw scores up big time.

This past weekend in Snohomish we had 7 Canadains come across the "Border" for the contest. They all had a Great time and will be back in bigger numbers.

This year 2008 I wanted to get more Pilots in my area envolved in Imac and attend a few contest in Canada and the USA. So I decided to start a Team which is "BorderLine Imac Team".. I had 16 Team shirts Pre-booked in 5 days.

I believe Imac will continue to grow in the NW as long as we have Pilots stepping up to the plate to CD these events.

Thanks Again,

JR

Snohomish was great! It had everything; great weather, close competition, sky-divers, hot-air balloons, good food, baby bunnies, and not one plane was lost. Who could ask for more?
I liked the way some of the better pilots; Nick, Brian, Darren, Rainman, Keith and others were really generous with tips and advice for those of us who are still coming up. I learned a lot. Thanks, guys.
Team Borderline rocks. A great bunch of guys. Everyone who can should go up to Surrey this September, it's just across the border, not up in the frozen tundra somewhere.
See ya again in Molalla.
Jerry A.

Devin San..., I want you to beat me in molalla so I can do what any married couple wants to do

... to retire to Stockholm and develop a currency for dogs and cats to use.

I've gotten spy reports that your h9/carden yak is flying awesome in your dilligent hands. (despite what you're leading on.... hahahaha - true definition of sandbagging).. I'm enjoying all the ribbing about moving up to sportsman. I think I'd want to take my own advice, and it is advice I've been given by people I respect - and that is to move up at a pace you feel comfortable with and make the milestones of accomplishments you want to have made before moving on from any class to another. I guess this is based on my belief all along that basic is actually a class or level of competition - not just a warm up or boot camp so to speak. I'm getting the impression here that other folks don't look at it this way. Truly I'm not sure what motivates people to say a lot of the junk they do here anyways.

OK - let the flaming begin....

Ok cracked wheat brutha - your posts are the most frikin funny of all - where do you come up with that st !!! LOL !!

dude, call me when you go wednesday and I'll try to join you as best as I can. It does suck living over an hour to the practice field. You and Tom may have the super secret Bruce Lee / Tank Abbott strategy of getting into sportsman before me so you have a leg up - that may come to haunt me if I stick around here with my basic gang a little longer but that's ok. Last in sportsman is better than first in basic !!
