Oh, BTW, I got my plane back in the air for a couple flights tonight. Problems fixed! (knock on wood) Just need some fine tuning and should be much better. I already was able to get about 50 more rpm's out of it than ever before with my (lack of) tuning skills. Ha Ha.

Awesome Brandon - GET'R DONE !! Then move out west so you can get into more contests with the fine folks of IMAC NW. A warm welcome everytime. ![]() Ya right Aron - you know me - if it's within the power of 20 mule team borax I'm going to get'r done. Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'm going to see about getting this sucker from slipping off with a combination of the above and see what happens. No lame excuses from the smackdown camp !!!! Hopefully.....

They were generous about starting a little later last time -(I hope this happens again)... in the morning the sun is pretty well established in the sky... don't count on it for sure though.

Another great contest! Thanks to everyone responsible for putting it on and pulling it off!! Nice job, had a blast. Pretty much incident free wknd. Except for Bill N. deadstick landing into the bushes. Looks to be minor though. And Smackdown stepped right up and lent Bill his plane so he could get his last sequence in. Top class John. But thats what I've seen over and over again in this region. What a bunch of class people. It's been a pleasure to be involved with all of you and I look forward to every chance I get to go to another contest so we can all get together again to camp, laugh, compete with our expensive toy planes, and be there to help out the next unfortunate soul who's luck has run out. Fly on!!! Practice hard, and I'll see you at another contest soon.

Trip home was fun. I followed Rainman's instruction to the letter and got lost again, ended up on I-5 in the middle of about two million cars going through Seattle about 75 - 80 MPH all 4 or 5 lanes and went with that traffic back to Portland. It took 3 hours and 2 minutes to get home and I swear I used an 1/8 tank less gas than I did going.
