| Update !!! Looks like we have 14 Pre-Regestered pilots so far . I would like to think we'll have another 10 or more who have'nt regestered that will just show-up. Looks good!!!Sounds like you guys and spouces had a good time in Redmond. I've always used a PassPort when traveling into the USA, but I heard picture ID works as well, If in doubt call the Border Crossing. Pets must have proof of Rabbies shot. Long range forcast looks good for next weekend, SUNNY with cloudy periods,Yea Baby!! I hope the pilots that are heading down to Tucson have been putting in some stick time, Surrey would be a perfect opportunity before you head South. I know John W has already headed South. Mike R has said he's coming to Surrey, but forgot his password for Registering. Till next weekend, Jerry R Last edited by BorderLine; 09-22-2008 at 01:14 PM. |

Tamara and Jim - you're quite welcome for the egg rolls (I speak for me and Le on this). It was really great to see you guys again and we look forward to seeing more of you guys next season. (with lemon cake in tow). Peace Out.Mike and Harv, I was wondering if you guys were really going at it or not - but really didn't think so.... so I say again YOU GUYS ARE FUNNY !!! Devin, Dang nabbit !! I tried to give you the contest with my secret move in the unknown but you were so worried I was going to leave you in Redmond that you insisted to let me win. That's a great sport. (secret: I would have taken you home anyways). Good job man - you keept me way too close for comfort - and I really thought you had me this time. But not to worry, I'll practice more of my secret moves and spring them on unsuspecting judges when they least expect it. You're one contest away from kicking my rump. Good flying Brutha !! Good job Dan !! I thought Aron was flying pretty dang well, but you really closed the gap in a vicious surge from behind. I think that the comback was all due to the awesome yellow stripes on your wings. ![]() Jim and Thelma - always very glad to see you guys. I'm glad you guys made the trip up to orygon. Have a great winter season. Bill G. - you beat us all home !! I'm glad you made it out - it's always a more enjoyable event when guys like you show up to harass me. Very good to see you out flying again mate.Congrats on your first victory Aron !! I was 100% sure you weren't going to make it - but I take credit for your victory in the hours and hours of begging you to come to fly in a contest. Now just stay put in basic and don't listen to anyone telling you to move up (even if it's me)... I don't need to see you and your dalton in sportsman for a long time ! Thanks again Darren and Cheri for hosting our dinner party - I want to do that again - it was a lot of fun. I'm glad you still have an airplane to take south with you - I thought for sure you were heading for that flag pole in your freestyle. Heart Stopping is the best way to put your freestyle man !! Get Cheri out in basic soon with that H9/carden yak. Last edited by Major_Smackdown; 09-22-2008 at 10:28 AM. |

I want to thank everyone at Redmond, great job, great field, but where did you get that Mike guy who was CDing. Seriously Mike Raines is the man, the battery bunny would have run out of steam trying to keep up with Mike. He probably did 5000 laps up and down the field, constantly getting judges and pilots to the flight line and calling for half the field and flying and doing everything. Mike you were impressive and I loved how you kept us going. GREAT JOB, and thanks again to the Field of Dreams members for hosting us and letting us enjoy there beautiful facilities. Bill |
