Thanks for calling for me RAINMAN when my scheduled caller got cold feet. Your calling for me went really well - I'm glad you did it. I know it's very scary for me at least to call for people I haven't called for before - especially a routine you're not familiar with. Good to see you down there and your CD efforts were awesome ! The contest went smoothly, quickly, and was a lot of fun - It was very laid back as well - I was just teasing when I said you were running it like a drill instructor.!! You did a great job of keeping everyone on task and on track !!

By the way Tom T. your flying is improving with every outing. Don't be hard on yourself - come out and fly and enjoy - You're going to love your new airplane. I can't wait to get mine flying. Say hi to your wife for me and Le.

Thanks Smackey... Your wife's egg rolls could make you both famous! They were sooooooo good! Thank you guys and Darrin and Cheri very much for hosting such a wonderful and delicious dinner.

Good flying everyone. Thank you all for being so attentive and for making this contest run so smoothly.

Mike C. and Harv.... keep it clean boyz. I know it is all good hearted but let's everyone remember this thread is to promote the joy of flying and competing. Good hearted competition.. a little ribbing, in good taste, is okay. Remember we are all friends here. You are both outstanding pilots as well as good human beings.

Jerry Surrey awaits... I am so excited to be able to make it up there. We are looking forward to a good time. Looks as if the weather will be on our sides too.

Bruce, thank you for the help with the unknowns. You are awesome!

I want to, once again, thank Mary and Ed and Richard and Ross and Velma and Mrs. Fox for all the hard work you put into making the Redmond contest run so smoothly. We are tremendously blessed to have such a fine bunch of people. Thank you very much!

Darrin, your freestyle is completely breath taking. I had to turn away on several occasions because I could not bear to see you stuff your plane. You just keep getting better and better pal.

We missed you Nick South and everyone else who couldn't make it. Tucson is coming and you guys are gonna rock. We'll be watching the results daily. Good luck everyone.

now....... SURREY...SURREY...SURREY!

Tom once you changed your prop your flying was top notch. I think if you had that on sat you would have been a threat to all of us.
P.S. You need your 100cc plane to compete with all these 35%er's.

Tom.... you and your wife are "the bomb!" Your chicken and steak kabobs were "off the hook" and you saved Richard from being a sinner too. For all of you who don't yet know it, Tom's wife Carla makes the best biscotti's on the planet! I ate the whole sack, poor Tom, and I was so rude I didn't even leave you any. Sorry buddy.

Every contest brings out more and more hospitality from everyone. A reason to share is a good thing. These contests are allot of fun, but it is the people who make it most gratifying. This being my fourth IMAC season, I've now had the opportunity to get to know most of you and I am most certain there is no group, anywhere, that is more enjoyable to be a part of. Great time EVERYONE!!!!!
I look forward to many more good times... Remember... feed the kitty..... keep recruiting new flyers. We need big Basic classes.

Rainman,

Ronster here..

I must say I wish I could fly more IMAC meets in the Northwest.. Of the ones I have made it always seems like one big family reunion!!! IMAC attracts the best kind of folks IMHO!! Flying folks are my kinda folks!!! Oh and IMAC rules of course!!

I am hoping to rebuild my IMAC fleet for next year - funds pending of course!
Oh and Yes Carla makes the best Biscotti and tastie munchies!!
When I was rebuilding Tony's 260 I think I gained about 10 pounds!!
Hoping to get a new IMAC ride for next season!!!
Ronster
