I respect what everyone has to say. Thank you for the input and it has been taken to heart. Personally, I would pay $50.00 to fly for a whole weekend. If you go for a day to Bumpershoots, a night at the movies, perhaps a concert, or whatever, $35.00 gets chewed up really quick, for only a few hours fun. I might say too, not nearly as much fun as these events. Yes, the club is non-profit. No one here is trying in any way to fleece anyone. How much is a single servo for your planes? How about a single prop, or a foamy, with nothing on it. Please, stop the bickering everyone! If you are hard up for the extra $5.00 then how can you even be in this hobby? I mean absolutely no disrespect to ANYONE, but please.... your raining on my parade! I am the Rainman and I do that very well on my own, thank you. How about a group hug here?

All contests have entry fees, and yes some vary by 5 bucks.... c'mon let's please get over it and not spoil our muses over petty squabbling. If anyone here is desperate over 5 dollars then please see me and I'll personally front it to you. One last comment, a single day event hardly makes it worth the time for all you folks who drive great distances to come here. We were quite proud to set this up as a normal two day event. Let's move on please.

Respectfully,
Mike Raines - CD

I know, we have had allot the last two or three days. Trust me, for this time of the year and for us west of the mountains, it has been a rare experience. I'm thinking as with most things in life, right around the corner will be blue skys, filled with gorgeous planes.... Oh, what a dreamer..............

Hey Kev, have you decided, for sure, what class your flying this next year? I am sick and tired of being a bottom feeder. Could all you killer flyers please MOVE-UP. Don't make me beg you on national internet sites like this. It makes me look really small. Thank you for your consideration.... brother.

Mike,

I'd love to be out there this week, unfortunately I'm still on the road until the week before the Polar Bear. I'm home from 6am Saturday 'til 2 on Sunday. Going to be very interesting to say the least....

At least you get to fly, even at work. That puts you one up on us. Yes, I am envious. Practice on your sim then and we'll see you soon. Fly safely.
