Keith, Seniors Trophy: I think it is a good idea that should continue the way it is. Basic: It appears most of the basic pilots come from the local area, or sponsoring club, and many do not travel around much to the other contests. That's O.K. and as I would expect it to be, as long as they can try it with what ever plane they have without the serious cash outlay for a true IMAC plane. For those that are a little more committed and that travel to other contests, I suspect they might appreciate a running for a tophy at the end of the year. So, yes I believe they should be a fully competitive class. Track the points and let them fly what they want. Warren |

I got the first two completed ones off the mill last night, I think I'm going to CNC these instead of water jetting, easier to anodize!! Destructive testing this weekend, my favorite part!!!![]() (You know the test my H9/Carden Yak failed at![]() ) ![]() ![]()

Keith's post said - he only got a weak response from his first inquiry. I didn't say Warren's response was weak. I think you'll have to do some Harrier landings to really test out the bracket - nice landings are easy on the gear. Yes, I've got my design on the sukhoi. I'd refer to my tail wheel as "affordable excellence" - like shilo inns. ha ha ha ha... LOL Do you have one of yours on your plane too ? I can't wait to see it in action. |

Yo ! Devin, I drove from out of state to come out to see your tailwheel in action today but to my amazement (not) you're still hiding it from public view. Anyways, I'm just wondering and to quote The Devinator himself - "how hard is it to make a tailhweel anyway ?" I'm glad I came out to show you how sweet the hackjob tailwheel works though. I'm sure your high end tail wheel is going to put it to shame !

| Today is a big day for Kyle. He will be tearing up the sky's with his freestyle. He promises not to touch the ground! Let's all be thinking positive for him and hope for the best. Also, keep Dave Villwock in your thoughts too as he is the only one who made the cuts and we want to see him keep moving up to a potium spot. Good luck to both of you and may the force be with you both!!!Go Dave.... Go Kyle... Go Dave... Go Kyle... |

![]() The correct quote referenced it as "Hogged out" not hacked out or "hackjob". Get it right before you flame my ass John (You know I wear a permanent flame suit). ![]() Hogged out = machined out of a block of aluminum... ![]()

You said "hacked out". Then you said - "It's what I expected from you". It's ok to say sorry after insulting someone. I know that for a fact. Anwyays, I'm wise to your tactics. Not to worry, I take your comments as an incentive to better my machining techniques. Anyways, no sour grapes here - You said you were brining it out - and you didn't have it - it was a bummer. I'm glad I'm still not waiting for your tail wheel as awesome as it may be. LOL. ![]() Rainman: ya, I looked last night for results and was very bummed that Only Dave V. made the cut. Very happy for him ! - what an accomplishment amidst a gang of top rate flyers !!! Nick did scratch his way off the bottom too. Don't feel too bad for them all - I'm sure they're having the time of their lives too ! GO KYLE GO !! |
