He was so far out that I think they scrambled fighters from Luke Airbase in Pheonix, thinking they were under Carden attack.

Giving credit where credit is due however, he did bring it back before he ran out of gas.

I take it the weather sucks over there like here? I went to the field to check it out and it was still snowing with about 4-6 inches on the runway.

Well I just froze my butt off at the field to get a couple flights in. Left Mike C out there as he showed up as I was leaving. Hope it warms up for him cos I'm still cold!!! Sure was nice to fly though, even if it was short flights due to frozen thumbs. LOL

Just left the RAMS field. Darren was there and flying his head off, and Jose Ortiz a new and soon to be Basic IMAC pilot. Mike left as I got there, family thing. Colder than a welldigers you know what.

Too cold for my littlle electrics. The batteries would probably suck instead of push. Oh Well! There will be better days. Where's that Globl warming they keep advertising? We are colder on these days that in the past years. 10 degrees below normal.

Only two others out at the field today, weather was spotty at best. I'm planning to call in sick Tuesday and spend the whole day out practicing. Sim is getting old and hovering the foamy through the halls at work yesterday really made me want to get out and fly the 1/4 Yakage.

Hey guys I got my new large Pitts from JTEC, looks nice, can't wait to hear if the 50 is quieter now. My ears just stopped bleeding from the stock pipe!

I only know of one other guy who tried that muffler and he sent it back. I guess they are quiet but his kept leaking around the welds. Not good for the price they are charging.

It did warm up when the sun came out al, I have no idea why you guys get out there so early. the morning is the coldest part of the day. you do need to get out to rams and fly the seqence if you plan on flying imac... cause if you don't... your brain will overload, and then explode!
