Thank you Rick and Dick for the info on the Motel's.

Jerry, if you guys prefer to stay at the field bring tents. There will be many people camping out, mostly RV's, some tents. We will do everything we can to help in any way possible. If needed there is a room where you guys could toss your sleeping bags too.

Harv: The predominant wind at the field is from the south which is flying from left to right, but like Mike said practice both because we do get wind from the north. Rick

I agree. thank you Bruce, outstanding job. You are very thorough and the class definitely helped me. I appreciate you taking the time to be there for us.

We are about 31 driving hours from Tucson. Are you considering coming out? It is a long ways, but we'd sure be glad to have you.

If I know Darren - And I do know Darren - He's at the flying field beating the air into submission. Its a balmy 45 degrees and about 10-15 knots of wind. And I wouldn't be surprised if the Rainman isn't there as well. Too cold for me - being all electric, my batteries suck instead of push when it's this cold.

Im not flying. too windy. too cold. too much global warming.
although if I remember spring is usually warm and sunny and then some rain and wind too. The warm and sunny part is missing. Dang global warming.
It rears it ugly head in many ways just like the manbearpig

Sorry fuddyduddy, couldnt make the class. Should have made arrangements and gone. Totally spaced and then when I was reminded of the school it was too late I had jobs that had to be done.
Not too sure about that nick name maybe we should find another. Dont worry bruce we'll figure something out unless it stuck. Then there is nothing anyone can do.
