Amost every year the forecast and the weather are unpredictable and yet almost every year we have a good contest. We'll get enough flying in and there will be some nice trophys going home with those who prepared and the fortunate . Long range forecast last week was sun now it's light sprinkles, but who knows what it'll actually turn out to be. There is just as good a chance we'll get sun. Whatever, and in between, we'll kick bootie and have fun! This is the first time of the year to fly and spend a weekend with my buddies.... I'm in. This is the Polar Bear after all. Appropriately named it is. As far as the weather goes we'll have a great contest. See you all there .

There is full RV hook-up at the entrance to the flying field. I will get info on it for you. Do you have a generator? I am sure if a guy wanted to use their hook-ups it would only be a few dollars. If we need to dump, they have a grey water dump too.

Devin: the Gun Club has RV hookups at the gate where you will enter the field, I think the fee is about $15 for a weekend, we will have room for trailers at our end if you are self contained.

I'm self contained, except I would LIKE to have an AC hookup... Can I reserve one of these, or is it first come first serve... How far from the field are these hookups??? Who do I contact to pay for one?? Thanks, hope I'm not being a pain in the arse... Just trying to keep my family comfortable so they'll come with me again.

Weather Smeather.

As arnold would say "You sound like a bunch of Girlie Men".

Back in the 70's we flew the polar Bear in Rain, Snow, Sun, Fog - whatever. And in mud up to our ankles at the old Snohomish flying field north of where they were now. Spent almost as much time pushing cars out of mud as we did flying.

Devin; The RV hookups are at the gate at the end of the runway, about 1500ft from the pit area. when you get here we can go to the Gun Club office and you can pay there. there are about 30 hook ups so you won't have a problem getting one.
