The site has been updated: - Medford scores - Updated Regional Standings - Polar Bear pics - This is IMAC in the snow. Something you gotta see!!! Check it out at: http://www.imacnw.com __________________ Come down gently... OK guy's, Bruce has updated the NW IMAC site (above) with the Medford results. I think we may have lost some guy's when the thread name was changed. The ones that weren't subscribed maybe, I'm not sure how that all works. But anyhow, we are alive and KICKEN'. Pass the word, let's get everyone on here! . The season is young and lookin' better all the time. We got judging sem.'s comin' up, and the next contests are Twin Falls ID, Surrey BC, & Zillah WA!!!!! So, Who's goin' where??????? You got a new plane? Let's here about it!! Mines a little banged up from a hard landing at Medford, But still flyin' (darn it! always happens the first time I go to a paved runway each year )Oh well, Another couple hun. in parts and she'll be good as new."Maverick" |

Great news, found my Passport last night so looks like Surrey and then Zillah for me next. Hopefully I will have the Python ready by then. I am waiting for new Fromeco batt's to arrive and a couple of other small items. I am having a heck of a time balancing this monster. It is very nose heavy. QQ provides a plate to mount the batts further back, but it was still nose heavy. I have built an additional plate to extend them even further back, so I am hoping that will work. Gorgeous plane though. If looks were enough to win, then this plane might very well take it all! It is huge. The wings are so thin, they should slice the air and cause this plane to fly very stable with little wind inteference regarding co-effeciency of drag. It is exciting to be so close to ready to maiden this bird. Sorrry to hear about your plane Nick. Hopefully it's a minor setback. I like you allot Nick, but I would appreciate it if you QUIT emmulating my style. Rough landings have been my thing. Only, of course, when they are not necessary! See, if I would have gone, then you probably would not have had the problem... Devin, what's up? What did you mean by your statement about how you will miss the NW? Are you being transferred in your work, .... or? Nice job again Rooster. When will your plane be together? Can't wait to see it in the air. Then, you can really turn the practice machine on! Go....go...go... Predator, how's the new Dalton coming? Will it be ready for the next contest? It is gonna be a knock-out plane. Kevin C, nice win in Medford........ MOVE UP! Everyone says you are flying awesome. Why do you want to hang around and beat us little guys up? The Big Dogs are waiting for you.... Heck, JJ even skipped Intermediate. No pressure though....cough...hack....#!2^&%$# Love you man... Who's going to Surrey? Nick, are you going? Let's rally and have some fun in Canada. I hear the field is really nice and Surrey itself is beautiful. Bruce, you are going, arent you? The website looks great Bruce. Thanks for the update and for posting the pictures. Okay everyone, the weather forecast is supposed to dramatically improve next week. Get ready to fly, I can feel the sunshine already! |

Mike- My wife and I paid my mother-in-laws mortgage while she was going through breast cancer treatment and sucked up our savings, so in an effort to build that back and fund the family vacation to Florida I had to "sacrifice" my IMAC plane. I'll for sure be back, I loved the comradery and competition, so just try to keep me away!!! If anyone comes across a deal on a small plane let me know I'll be looking again soon. Take care guys!!Devin

Devin - sorry about your mother-in-law and the hit on the family. You are super for stepping up. If we get down your way you are welcome to fly my 35% if you wish. All the best. Bruce
