The plane wieghed 42lb before I got it.
He had greeves pipes, aluminum gear and 10 futaba 9152 oversize servos. These are very nice servos but they make a plane very heavy..... Nick.
Anyway I took all those off and put on 8 8611a, froemco x 2 at 5200 no regs, no switches just one with AR 9100 JR 2.4 BUS with 3 tiny recievers. no wheel pants. MTW cannisters and headers.
Will have greeves pipes and the other Dalton motor back on Monyunday.
So the plane is set up for greeves. Thats the plan. 2LB 2OZ with headers is what I hear. Hope thats not heavy.
See ya

There's a fun fly in zillah next weekend

Mike flew his new Pits Pithon again today. Yesterday was a very short maiden by Mike and Dave V. The plane looks very realistic in the air. It presents as nice as any of the nicest presenting planes I have ever seen in my years and years of IMAC. After my new plane of course. Kidding but no lol there. Nope we dont lol unless its tuely warranted!
Mike did a great job of landing it in the wind. He did a really great job when he was under severe pressure by yours truely. He came into land and I thought he was out off the runway. He landed it calmly with me screaming in his ear from behind him POWER UP! YOUR NOT OVER THE RUNWAY!! You past the test Mike. That was a test. I am so proud of you!
Anyhow it was too windy to see how well it will imac but from the looks of the rolling and point rolls mike did it should be a great IMAC plane and most likely an awsome 3d plane too.
This weekend is suppose to be in the 80s so we should have a chance to get our planes dialed in.
On thursday Kyle is supposedly coming to the rams for some video for precission hobby products. If I have permission I will post it here. I am sure their new 42% extra 260 will be a great IMAC 3d plane.
You can get planes here at a good price. Also they have a couple expensive ones too that are of a higher quality.
Chris and Matt you can see the 35% extra 330 here http://www.precisionhobbyproducts.com/index.html
I have to say I am loving my new Dalton. It flys percission as good if not better then 260 and being a pound lighter it flies 3d better fo sho. I was very fortunate to have gotten this plane right after loosing the other.
I will have to pay that one forward.
See ya all soon!!
MC WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bruce... Zillah is lookin pretty good.

Darrin, I kept thinking I was seeing Kyle flying yesterday. If I just closed my eyes and listened, your throttle mgmt is smooth buddie. Just enough revs to move your plane slowly. Good job Palito...

Dave, thanks for the help on the flying wires. Much better now.

Looks like Thursday is the day to fly you guys.... plan to be out early so we can make a day of it. IMAC....IMAC....IMAC... PRACTICE...

We`re having our first Imac event in 3 weeks. I hope alot of you guys can make it up here. I know Bruce, Nick and Mike will be attending, hopefully alot more of our neighbours from the South will make it as well. Check-out the Imac site for posters and dirrections etc, to our field. Bruce said the drive took him 2 hours this morning.

Hey Jerry,

How many Sportsman pilots will be there to compete? do you have a count? I checked the IMAC online reg. and, so far there are 4 pilots pre-reg. Do you know of more?? And do you know if Russ will be coming down from Kelowna??? Also, since we are only flying limited classes, will we be flying more rounds?

Hi Nick...Like Harv said..Russ is coming down from Kelowna and Mike Allman from Vernon.
I hope to get as many rounds as we can. Have to see howmany Basic pilots we have. That may take a while.

Entermediate should have 3 or 4 guys, deppends howmany come up from the South. Maybe Mike R will get the day off work and surprise us!!!

It sure would make it alot easier if everyone Pre Regestered. Maybe thats something we can work towards in the upcoming years.

See you guys in 3 weeks.

Jerry
