I've just been really busy with school projects, finals, tuning the car up, and karate.
I've also been trying to learn Japanese as I have some friends living over in Japan and I am trying to plan for a trip sometime soon.
so flying, only at the moment, has taken the backseat
Spoken like a real hippy.
I aint worried about that sandbagging darth vader. I know about his pittiful fleet. Even now my fighters are waiting to ambush him.
You see Rainman, Dave is going to be so occupied this hydro season with becoming the all time most winningest unlimited hydroplane racer that flying toy planes is going to be "taking a back seat" as that hippy said

Be a prudent predator and work on your weaknesses. Practice makes a predominant predator.

Just wondering,,other than Nick and Bruce. Howmany of you are planning to attend the May contest in Surrey?? Just remember it's only Basic,Sportsman and Intermediate.

Please try and work this event into your Schedule, there's been alot of planning to make this event happen.

We all want to see Imac grow into great #'s in the Northwest. Crossing the US/Canadain border is very easy. The drive is only a couple hours from the Seattle area.

It's Hard not knowing howmany will attend for the first contest. Most of the events in the NorthWest are established fields, but I guess they had to start off the same as we are.

We have a great facility, the best in BC and Top 10 in Canada.

So please Pre-Register on the Imac site, or send me a PM.

Club Website is www.rcfcbc.com

Lets make this work....

Jerry

Careful Ryan, I was over at the Predator's the other night and believe me.... you need to be very cautious. Maverick was talkin jack and his head is gettin so big, when it explodes we're all gonna get brain goo on us!!! Heck, if I were him, I'd just pass right by all classes and go straight to Unlimited. He is quickly becoming a "legend in his own mind." For sure..... he's my HERO. (just kidding Nick) Do I hear a chant.... Maverick.....Maverick..... Maverick...

Hey Sweetpea, I'll give you an early welcome greeting!! Welcome to the NW. We have a great bunch up here in the Northwest, and you'll fit right in I'm sure. Where abouts are you gonna be located, do you know yet? I saw your name on the Sportsman roster for Tuscon last year. Have you moved on to Int. or still flying Sportsman??? What plane are you flying this year? Any questions, just ask away. Lots of guys in the region willing to help you get situated, up and runnin'

Early Welcome Nick - "Maverick"
I was in Sportsman last year and did respectable to make the Shootout but did not fly very well except one round at the TAS. Knowing I was going to move in'08 but not where or exactly when, I chose to stay in Sportsman while in Vegas. I did very well in the few contests I flew, missing 1st place in all contests but having a real chance to win all of them. I'll probably stay in Sportsman the remainder of this year as I won't be able to make the TAS anyways. I'll be flying my 42% Extra 300 on a 3W157CS on cans. The plane is simply awesome and I see no need to get anything else.

I get in town around 14 July. Not sure I can make that contest though. I'm not much of a 3-D flyer though. Just never took the time to learn it.....maybe I'll work on it this year.

I saw Maverick last night and he is already talkin trash! He obviously hasn't eaten humble pie yet, but he says we all better be scared! I think he has been hanging out with Sleeping Beauty and that spells EGO dysfunction! (love you Nick..... just kidding) Ha!

See you soon Sam,
Rainman
Have not looked at the schedule yet, the only set planes I have are to attend the Jet Rally at Whidbey. I get in town Mid July. I'm sure I'll talk more trash than him once I hit the first contest.

I'm going to attach a pic of my new digs............as you can see I'll have plenty of room for an Electric field ( I own the large center grass lot to the south). I plan to mow in a runway and paint lines. My house is the middle one. You can also see the 40x30 RV garage that will be my new workshop. Maybe I'll have a small time event next year.
