I don't have a trailer anymore, so I couldn't bring the carden. It's not worth it to me to drive all that way just to fly the little yak. Even if I did, I still have work to do on the plane. I haven't touched it since tucson, and "i am" is really lazy and sleepy

If you dont start practicing you will no longer be I AM but you will be I was according to Pastor and he knows is stuff
I got a new 9303 2.4 with a new JR 9100 Heavy duty triple reciever. Over head sump pump ram quads with dualies on my pipes.
Got the greeves pipes hangen out the back and a whole lotta horsies. My plane can do a hundred now and go higher then you can even see it.
I can bench 8 oz with my thumbs now that is something to brag about. Yep this hobby is a mocho hobby. Thats why not many people can stick it out.
Its rugged hobby. A mean hobby. A hobby that very few can handle!
I just hope you can handle it Sleepmaster.

I have to report to you guys about my new radio. I switched from 72 to 2.4 as you may know.
I was told by several people that there is a difference in response even to the point where you may need to add expo or turn down your rates.
I had to turn my rates down. I can say there is a total difference in repsonse time. I can say that I am more connected with the plane as people told me I would be.
I am totally sold on this stuff. I am also late and everyone reading this probably already has it. But then again when I bought my first pair of straight legged levis everyone else had gone back to flairs.
All I can say is if you are serious about this hobby and you want to be as competitive as you can you need to get this.
My friend Don Stenson lost a 30% QQ yesterday on 72 to what appeared to be interferience. So that is a good reason you can tell your wife. Could save the family and family member and money.

Daren, I just went to 2.4 also. I was a little nervous to make the change. We still have not been able to fly here in CDA. The snow still needs to melt a bit. I hope to try out my new radio soon! Sounds like the change was for the better with you. Cant wait to fly.

Great day on the field today. A slight wind but stellar sunshine all day! Darrin and I both felt we would rebel agains't the price of gas so we flew to deadstick..... talk about dorks! Two very nice planes could have been lost because of not having a good timing system in place. Before we hit the air again, there will be.

This plane was built by Kevin Miller and it is sweeeeet! Kevin doesn't do it unless it's right. It flys so much better than my last, thanks to Jim Gilbert who is a pro at setting em up. Hopefully tomorrow will e sun too, so see you guys at the field.

I'll be there this weekend Mike, most likely on Sunday since I'm flying back on Saturday. Probably just the Edge still ( ); I really need to get new batteries in the Extra before I bring it out again, just for peace of mind. It looks like I might have to miss Polar Bear this year anyway so no huge rush on getting my 2.6 out (henceforth known as the DOMINATOR ), but hopefully soon!

Ryan,
Everything you just said except for missing the Polar Bear was okay! C'mon pal, bring the Dominator with you and your cover gal too and fly the contest. We need you to show. We were planning a return celebration.... so, don't forget your cover girl.

Dave Villwock made some flight trim adjustments to my plane yesterday and it flys so much better. He's actualy been practicing with his Carden lately and wow, he flys it straight as a rail! I am however, not really sure he knows how to do anything half way. Even his 3D skills are lookin mighty sharp these days.

C'mon you guys. I know somebody out there has been practicing. Don't be sandbagging now, it is okay to share the good news. I spoke with Gilbert yesterday and I know he was maidining his new Godfrey. Sounds like it is a nice plane.

See you on the field Ryan, and....., change your schedule. We want to see you fly at the Polar Bear.

Rainman
