I don't know, that sounds like I might have to plan something in advance lol Rather than just wing it!

I will let you know....maybe I will have to put that mp3 player on the 14z to use!

Hey Chad, I burned nearly a gallon of dead dinosaur today but you and Ryan also put a few cycles on those Thunder Tiger packs as well! IMAC is addictive and besides I didn't like getting my a** kicked by a 15 year old in Kelowna last year! (Hi Harv! )

When you live in Canada and the ground is clear in March and it's 10 degrees above the freezing mark (and you have a few days off) you gotta fly!

I'm jealous! I hoped to be flying but we got a cold snap and more snow just as the field was about to clear!

1 gallon on a 50cc = SWEET!

I burned 90 all last season and hope to burn even more this year. I suspect Gord is gonna run very hard at Harv in Sportsman this year!!!

I am still undecided on class... but I will likely move up and take the punishment for a few seasons LOL.

Hey Trumpetman,

Are you coming down to Washington for the Polar Bear? We have a 12 year old and an 8 year old that are pretty tough customers. Sounds like this new contest will be a blast. We're going to see if we can work it into the schedule.

Hi Mike,

I've looked into going down to Olympia for your contest but according to Google maps it is a 13.5 hour drive. I know, I know, I've got to get my priorities straight! Pretty tough to swing that especially on the drive home! Thanks for your interest in our event. If you can make the drive up here as part of a vacation though I will guarantee that you will have fun at the event and a little thing called the Calgary Stampede! Please keep in mind that hotel, motel and campground space will be at a premium because of the Stampede (Usually about 1 million visitors to the Stampede over a ten day period) so if you are considering coming this way please make arrangments now.

Because of the situation with the landowner of our club (The City of Calgary) we can only offer dry camping (no services) for the Saturday night (Friday night as well if someone is coming in early and lets me know in advance). A reminder to everybody as well that this will be a restricted event with only Basic, Sportsman and Intermediate classes. Check out the website at www.calgaryimac.ca We have some definate local and Provincial interest including some folks from Edmonton and Stettler. Please pre-register if you think you can make this or any other IMAC event (see the pre-registration link on the IMAC - Northwest website) This does not obligate you to attend but it does help those of us who are organizing these events.

Have fun at the Polar Bear.

Gordon

Thanks Gordon,
Sorry, I didn't realize you were so far away. Are you guys close to Banff? If so, you must have the best skiing in Canada. Thanks for the info.

Using that plane in the pic Chad, I am sure you can take Basic what with the single loop and roll elements. The rules however state you must use a scale "something someone could get in a larger scale" plane. The pattern plane plane in freestyle will only works as a demo flight. So if you set the precedence then I can fly my within size but overweight (actually a detriment) extra in pattern advanced here in BC?
