Well, Kieth was able to maiden the new Carden extra 300 mid wing yesterday! The winds were awful all day but he managed to go for it. He did an awesome job on it. The plane is absolutely awesome. The grieves pipes gave it a lot of power. Congrats to Kieth!!!!!!!

I am so jealous!!

Kevin
I checked the plane out, no real damage except for the landing gear. i ordered a new one monday so it should be here by thursday. in the mean time because it's listing to one side i will put a 6" tire on that side to straighten up the plane . ( just kidding)

Kevin,
I called DA and asked about our not shutting off problem and he said that if the carb is truly closing 100% than the only thing could be a air leak between the carb and the case. Seem's weird that they would both start doing it at the same time.

That is weird. I took my carb off and checked the butterfly and I didn't see anything. I guess i will check that gasket closer on the carb. Thanks

I'm going to pull mine off tonight and check. I wonder if we can get those gaskets in town somewhere.

I have always had good luck getting small engine parts at CDA tractor. Might want to try there?
