Speaking from past experience, the St. George contest is always a very good one. The field is great to fly at, and Brian C. Jeff B. and Dave F. do a really great job of putting on a fine contest. Good competition also. The local club provides food and beverage on site, and some of the worst COFFEE my lips have been exposed to.....Don't think about going there w/the lips now...Very nice trophies, not plaques. If you don't go to this one, You are missing out...

Thanks for the good words GunShow…and Eric for posting the links.

Everyone should know, Jeff Blaylock will be unable to attend this years St Geo contest. He has other coals in the fire and unfortunately will not be able to make it. Without my partner in crime (Blaylock), my job gets tougher and even though many other Team RMA members are stepping up to help out, I’ve decided to concentrate on the administration of the contest rather than flying. What does this mean?...2 less Unlimited pilots (myself and Jeff) that normally would be in the thick of it (I will be contacting the registered Unlimited guys to let them know). Jeff is not out by any means and hopefully will be back next year in his old hat.

As in years past, we’re again waiving the pilots fee (Basic Class only) if you join IMAC at the contest. We’ll have the paperwork there and will even send it in for you.

This year (like last) we’re going with Medals instead of Plaques or Trophies…we’re trying to keep the overall contest expense down and of course, we’re passing the savings onto the pilots by way of a low registration fee. It costs a lot of money to travel around in the SW region…we don’t want to make it worse…Team RMA just prefers to do it this way. And, most of the extra cash (after everything is paid off), will be going to the Freestyle competitors.

Everyone knows the SW region IMAC pilots are the coolest cats in the yard and it has always been our honor to administer this event. Those of you that have attended RMA events in the past, know its all about the flying and camaraderie..and this particular event is our favorite. Plus, the hosting club (Remote Possibilities) and the town of Saint George are just awesome in general ;-)… It’s a no frills, well run contest that’s relaxing and fun.

We look forward to seeing all of the old familiar faces again…and hope to see some new ones.

See you next weekend!!

Well Team Vegas is headed out to St George this weekend.

For those that miss this contest....the field is very nice and plenty for the family to do in the city.
