Default Riverside IMAC May 19-20

This is quoted from Jeffery Szueber Jr.

"Hi every one. Let me start out by saying we will NOT be scoring the sound score, Pilot and dash panel. THIS CONTEST WILL BE ABOUT YOUR PILOTING SKILLS, NOT HOW DEEP YOUR POCKETS ARE!!!! We will also not be scoring the Airspace control score because I do not feel that every one is on the same page when it comes to scoring this.
The pilots meeting will be at 9:30, and the entry fee will be $35.00 for Basic and $40.00 for sportsman and up."

Unfortunately, Jeffery will be at the Joe Nall and can't be at the contest. I am posting this for him to ensure that all pilots that wish to attend receive the information on cost, time of the pilots meeting and the deviation of the rules.

Seg and I will be there. Always a very good event. Seg is hoping to see Bernie B. Pedro B. and Kevin T. It's always nice to see "Old Friends" and promote the spirit of competition. Plz keep the high winds away.

There is, I am just not sure where.

The directions from
Vegas are as follows:

I-15 south (about 4 hrs worth) to the I-215 past March ARB to 4th street (CA 74). Turn left from the off ramp and go over the bridge to San Jacincto(sp). There is a shell station on the left side of the road. Turn right on San Jacincto(sp) and go past the yellow gate. There is a dirt road on the right hand side past the gate that is about a mile long, you should be able to see the field from this point.

I have had to mapquest the intersection of 4th and San Jacincto(sp) in Perris, CA for directions in the past.

From Vegas you take I-15 to the I-215 south. It splits at Glen Helen at the bottom of the Cajon Pass.

THEN you take the I-215 SOUTH to 4th Street in Perris.

Then Turn LEFT at the end of the ramp and go back over the freeway to the stop sign.

Turn RIGHT (the Shell station is at your 11 o'clock) and follow that road for about 1 mile. Just as you go into a small dip in the road turn RIGHT and parallel a long drainage. The field is back and to the left. You'll see the cars.

And it is a LEFT turn at the end of the exit ramp, not a right. It is a RIGHT turn at the stop sign by the Shell station.
