I really enjoyed the contest saw some old acquaints and made some new ones. The free style was great' I agree that the free style does add some zest and crowd appeal I was pleasantly surprised when the last item in the drawing was a $100.00 gift certificate from Desert Aircraft, and you gusted it my name was called. SWEET

Hi Larry, I hope you had fun , is your plane OK? I heard you had a problem or something. Well this is the third time I have tried to reply to this post. Yea Howard I had a great time except for the off field landing. Had a flame out couldn't make it to the runway landed it the plowed field tore out the landing gear plus some collateral damage  One of the highlights of the contest was meeting your dog (tho he never did tell me his name) I swear I only gave him two pieces of pizza The plane is on the repair bench even as we speak.

Up date, my repair job is coming along good I got an oppertunity to use that aluminum brazing rod to braze a new pipe on the can. Worked really well. That stuf is really hard after you are done, harder than what you are brazing.
