Thanks for putting on the event, it went very well. Roger kept the scores running and Wayne kept the judges in line. We enjoyed ourselves very much, and Tucson loved the pond! Be back next year. Thanks again. Will B. |

Gary Hunt, Lew Sheffield and Roger Russell had problems and did not finish all the rounds. Good time and weather was had by all. Thanks fo everyone who helped and attended. Awfully tough to go back to the club and ask for volunteers with such a low turnout of flyers, when you can hold an OPEN HUSE and attract more pilots and more public..............OK I am done ![]() But we all know those that did attend had a good time flying. Thanks to all the judgeing.

Looked like everyone was having a good time and with the corn being out I think it made it much easier than landing in the funnel. Congrats to the guys on top and to the others time for more fuel. Thanks for letting me judge a few classes I really enjoyed it. Roger like I said earlier I think it comes to the timing of this event after the shootout points no longer count. I know Dave (owner of the field) really loves having people come out and enjoy his property. |

Mike, Bruce and Roger.. Thanks for the great weekend. Dont let the low turnout reflect poorly on your contest. Its a well run event that will in time bring more people in. I think its more of a location thing than anything else and the fact that there was a contest this weekend in Canada that I know a few guys from Ohio went to because its closer for them. Roxana has low turnout generally speaking but its always a good time also. Theres nothing wrong with lower turnout and flying 5 known rounds plus an Unknown.
