I'm gonna tip one back for you guys at the party I'll be at on Sat night. If I had anyone's phone number, I'd have everyone I was with hit you with the 10 call salute. I think the last one we made was to Boyko at the Nats... Curtis, we already miss you, dude. I miss everyone already. Tucson spoiled me. 2 weeks with you guys was a little too much, but now I'm having withdrawls... Have a great time this weekend, guys...

Mikey, We miss you guys too--Tucson was a blast. It was amazing--we spent almost three weeks in the motorhome and all I wanted to do when we got home was go back out in it. Anyway, we will certainly miss you this weekend and I hope things go well for you . Sad that the last "salute" we gave was at the Nats. I can't believe we didn't salute anyone while in Tucson. Doesn't matter, we will remedy that this weekend, right guys?? Also, did I see somewhere that you are staying in Intermediate??? I guess we know who will be wearing the skirt next year, eh??? Marian P.S.--does anyone need directions to the field??

That's cool--the intermediate sequence looks really neat for next year. Jorgy said it looks "fun". OK, directions to the field: If you are coming from the north: take 71 or 75 to 275 and go west. Follow 275 toward Kentucky (it branches off from 74) and take the Kilby Rd. exit. turn right at the end of the exit ramp then turn right onto Suspension Bridge Rd.--when that dead ends turn right onto Lawrenceburg Rd. Go about 4 miles and turn right on the driveway marked Rags Sons and follow back to the Cincinnati Aeromodelers. From the South: take 75/71 to 275 and go west. Take the Kilby Rd. exit and follow the above directions. From the West: take 74 to exit 169 (Brookville/West Harrison) and turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Follow through West Harrison and immediately after you cross over the Whi****er River turn left onto Lawrenceburg Rd. Go one mile and turn left into the driveway marked Rags Assoc. and follow to the Cincinnati Aeromodelers. Call me if you have any questions about directions. Marian

No, we wont be there, Brendan has other things going on with school and the plane hasnt been taken out of the crate yet. Besides, it made it home in one piece and its staying that way, it has to go back home to its daddy Not to fear though, there will be two new 260's for next year.Hope you all have a good time Mama, stay warm |

I think jamie is estimating a little early, or if I drive 100mph and off road. im thinking 5 at the earliest, it will depend on traffic.

You know where to find us--regardless of what time you get there. Cheryl is right--the weather is looking good for the weekend and that means lots of flying before winter sets in..... Marian

Hope you all have a great time. Sorry that I can't get there...would love to see you all. It has been a great season and I have enjoyed every minute spent with all the super people in NC. Brian, thanks for taking the wreck down for its official send off to the plane gods. She will be sorely missed. Looking forward to next year and hopefully a new bird to fly. My best to you all. Are Mark and Cheryl camping at the field? Brian, please make sure you call Marian or myself on the way down so we can be sure someone is there to let you in, I will be working till at least 5 so I won't be getting there till maybe 6 or so. I think Marian can get there much earlier if needed. If the weather is terrible, call to be sure your headed to the field Friday pm instead of the house. I would think we will all be there Saturday AM if the weather is a bust Friday night, but right now it is looking ok, not perfect but ok. Thanks Will P.S. bring sunglasses, sun is low in the sky this time of year during the flying hours. |
