 |  Propbusters IMAC Challenge... in Southern IL. As I'm starting to get spring fever, and wanting to fly sooooo bad; I thought I would start a thread on this new event. It is scheduled as the 2nd event of the season and the first IMAC for this club. MAY 10th 11th I.M.A.C EVENT HOST CLUB PROP BUSTERS Radio Controled Aircraft Club This is a AMA Sanctioned Event RV Camping on sight, no hookups http://www.thepropbusters.com/events.html Since we posted the event on our website, we have had much interest from quite a few pilots new to IMAC. It is a full scale runway. And we have been known to get some traffic there, but usually to stop in and see the RC action. Mainly experimental planes, small full scale, and an occasional Helli. But all know to give "us" the right of way.... |

I can get discount rates on the Hotel rooms, but I need an idea how many are planning on attending to get the best rate? They are all located approx. 8 miles from the field. Great, you will probably be camping at the field? Bryan, Jason and Jason, should be a good shot straight East on I64 for you guys. So far the best I have on rooms is $54.95 at the Winsor Oaks, and thats with two occupants and double beds... This is an American owned/opperated motel. It is older than the Super 8s', but still well maintained. (618)445-1352 cell This is my # for anyone that may have some questions on directions, or anything else you may want to know....  There will be a fire going in the evening to sit around in the lawn chairs. We've been known to sacrifice a plane or two there as well.....
