I am frantically trying to get a plane finished to fly for this weekend. My brand new Primary plane is down due to engine problems. I won't have the engine back in time from Cactus for the weekend. I hope I can get my 33% extra done in time. Plan to maiden on Thursday...

Have fun everyone. My engine blew up right before Clinton and is in for service too. As soon as it gets back I'll be back flying and competing with you guys. This leaves me a wide open weekend to finish the little things in my basement I finished so I can finally say "I'm done".

Update - looks like we will have 30-35 pilots competing this weekend in Columbus. The weather forecast is still looking great (high 70s and lots of sun)!
I want to thank two companies that are supporting this event:

Smart Fly has donated product and gift certificates for our event. Smart-Fly is dedicated to providing the radio control modeler with high-quality, high-performance, affordable products and has been a big supporter of IMAC.

TnT (Tom Kroggel) has donated several large gift certificates. TnT provides many great products - not just landing gears! Tom wanted us to have them for the support that the IMAC organization showed for the ETOC this year.

All of these items will be given in a pilot drawing during the awards ceremony on Sunday.

I had planned on coming but our house sold and we have to be out by this Friday. That mean the weekend will be spent unpacking, you guys have fun and maybe next year will be better for me.
