Great Job Kurt, Mike, Paul and crew! The field was in great shape, weather perfect, event well planned out, and lots of flying with friends. The park and club hosts a great event, thanks very much! Will |

As always, great contest! The weather couldn't have been better and the flying was great. However, there is one person that I think is being over-looked and that is Lou Matustik. Lou is always a very helpful, gracious person and very quiet about it. He was there keeping the flight line moving by helping Kurt swap out judges, get score sheets out and round up scribes. He helped the photographer get shots of everyone with their airplanes by waving them down after they landed. Countless times during the contest I saw him carrying equipment for the contest or helping another pilot round up a battery or an ignition. And personally, he "babysat" Tucson for a while on Saturday morning while Will was flying. My sincerest thanks to Lou for all of his efforts because I think he was instrumental in the production of this contest. ![]() Marian
