 |  8th Annual Columbus IMAC Challenge - May 24-25 Trying to get a better idea of who will be competing in the Columbus IMAC Challenge this weekend... Below is a list based upon the IMAC Contest pre-registration data and emails from individuals. If you know of people on this list that are definitely coming (or not) please let me know. The weather forecast looks great for next weekend (sunny and mid 70s). Mike Barbee will once again be hosting all of the pilots at his house on Saturday night. We have a professional photographer with a $20K camera that will be taking pics of all the pilots on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing many of you this weekend! I'm making this my very first IMAC contest.  Sure I'm nervous as all get out but I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can this weekend and just having a great time hanging out with you guys. Should be a hoot. See you all this weekend. Tim |

I cant weight! I miss flying at home. Kurt, Stephen Warner and Forrest Pilkington are comming. I dont know what class they are flying, but they said they'd be there.

Im going but i haven't had any flights... again, i had to send in the engine 2 days after the last contest  . So no trim flights and the engine isnt here yet. I asked how long it would take and they told me a couple weeks. I then told them it was my imac plane and some guys there worked over time to cover my ass. They called me at 930 at night telling me they got it done for me for this contest. Thats right 930 pm. I got to hand it to the guys at Desert Aircraft they do go above and beyond to help a pilot out. That kind of service makes me feel like I'm the sponsored pilot.Ok sorry for the sappy engine service report but it needed to be said. I have a 50cc WH extra for sale in the swap shop; if any one thats going is interested in it let me know and ill bring it, other wise ill leave it home and sleep in the van. |

I will be there!!!!! Rolling in Friday evening. Can't wait. Looks like nice weather....after Clinton, I am not sure I will be able to fly without a 30 knt crosswind.

Hey Kurt, Brendan and I wont be there, he has to work this weekend. Hopefully we will see everyone at Hamilton. Hope everyone has a good weekend and a safe trip to and from the contest. |
