Ric, Please pass along our thanks to the Hawks for hosting this amazing event - I've never seen more pilots in one place except for a competition other than Nats. The prizes were AWESOME - still can't believe that both planes went back to the Sundowners club - congrats!. Most of all thank you Ric - I can't imagine how many hours you must have spent hounding the sponsors and making arrangements for the meet. I hope the new DA85 will in some small way make up for you being unable to fly on Sunday. Thanks again - It is the meet NOT TO MISS. Ron |

Piping in a little late here but Ric really did do a great job. Thanks for all the effort to everyone at the Hawks but esp. Ric. I know there is also a lot of effort still going on with the DVD's that they are putting together for us all. There were plenty of people there from all over, that was great to see! A+++ Will B. |

All I can say is WOW! What a great weekend, lots of fun and good flying. It is always nice to see our friends and really great meeting new ones. I had a great time and I want to thank Ric for all of his efforts over the past year (because that's how long he works on this contest--not just a few weeks before) and it really paid off. Looking forward to next year already. ![]() Marian

awsome weekend! I so totally enjoyed myself this weekend hanging out with the greatest group of guys and gals in the hobby! I even had a great time flying - when my plane accually ran Ric and the HAWKS club gave such a tremendous effort in making this a premier contest, i only wish that the weather Saturday night would have co-operated more for them to have Freestyle and dinner. but, once the rain quit we all had a fantastic rib dinner and some really cool open flying time!a couple of notables: Alex Session did a fantastic job flying in his first event. it is great to see a young kid be enthusiastic about our hobby. great job Keith!!!! mad props to Craven for showing up without his IMAC plane and flying a .60 Corsair in Basic! doesnt matter what you brung folks just show up and fly! we did loose one airplane yesterday sorry to Jorgy for loosing his new 38% extra. Mark your contributions and presence in IMAC are priceless much appreciated to us, we'll get you back in the air soon!oh, and Seth needs to hurry up and discover girls and cars. I have about 200 pictures form the weekend. Wayne and Dan did a fantastic job taking pictures as well, instead of repeating the same shots I will post some of the more interesting ones I took Hubb
