Great to see you and a lot of other folks from south of the border Mike! It's been a while!

It's the new Carden 43% Extra 260, powered by a ZDZ 210 on JMB canister mufflers, swinging an MSC 34-12. As you all saw, I need plenty of practice with the Unlimited sequence, but the plane does perform very well. Dennis from Kirby's Kustom Graphics came up with the ideas for the decals. I think it looks great too.

Thanks to Ric and all the other people who helped out with the contest! I had a blast!... EH..

Mark J... we all feel your pain. Been there... done that. Hope to see you back up on the horse and riding again soon!

Ric and the Hawks,

This was my first trip to your event and had a blast, EH!

You guys put on one heck of a contest. Was worth the 9+ hours driving on Friday to attend. Great to see new blood in Basic whoopin some of us that have been here a while. Watched Alex fly from the very start and knew I was in trouble. Give that kid an IMAC plane and watchout Sportsman, never mind Basic!

Was good to see old friends from South O' The Boarder and fun to make new ones.

Deffinitely pencilled in for next year.

Lew, No prob just try and ration what I gave you till the NCRF!

Ric,

When I met you at Columbas and you invited me down I didn't give it much thought but after Jackson I said what's $4.00 a gallon, that's $1.00 creapper then travelin in Canada so I decided to give it a go... No regerets.... awsome job! Keep up the hard work, see you next year!

Ric, you mentioned some regrets or things to have done different, its a learning thing and I dont believe anyone expects for everything to go perfect so, dont beat yourself up dude or have any regrets, it was an amazing contest and no one can take that away from ya !

Its a work in progress and you have added something every year making it better than the one before, you were burning your candle at both ends on this one.

There is always something that we all leave a contest with as to a memory, something that was said, something that was done, something that happened....

I would have to say that my fondest memory from your contest was, having Keith walk over to me standing there looking at me with this amazed look on his face and saying....I understand now !

Back after Brendan went to his first IMAC contest at Clinton in 2006 we went to Keiths to fly with him, he was helping Brendan with some stuff to make him fly better. We watched Alex fly while we were there, I told Keith then that I hoped one of these days that Alex would want to go and fly in a contest and be his lil flying buddy just like Brendan and I, we laughed about how I was seeing Brendan win his first contest.

It finally came home this weekend with Keith I think, that overwhelming and emotional feeling of being with your son and seeing him fly competing and doing good, that is what the comment was about that Keith made to me.

Keith, hang in there bud, Alex is fixin to take you for the ride of your life ! You do truely understand now, I seen it in your eyes Dang you Keith, you bout made me tear up when you walked over and said that to me LOL. Its an amazing feeling isnt it buddy....aint nothing like it in the world !!!

So that is my fondest memory from your contest Ric, and I am sure it is Keiths also, its one that will always be remembered that only happened at your contest.
