The forcast may seem to have you all scared but evethough the little icon shows thunderstorms, rest assured that they are only 25% chance and considered "Pop-ups" which means they come and go quickly. I am not too concerned by the weather at this point. Everything else is in order and under control, weather I have no control of, talk to Kurt for that.....

Find me a forecast for the midwest, this time of year, that doesnt have a chance of thunderstorms listed each day.

What a great evening at the field! I count about 20 pilots here already. There have been 2 flightlines going since about 5:30 almost everybody here has gotten in practice flights. Most guys are now setting up tents and campers for their evenings and overnights here at the field. One pilot lost a prop in flight right about the time that I got here and personally I had 1/2 a flight before I had engine trouble - again. Turns out to be a bad throttle servo. Already corrected thanks to my friend wayne this is going to be a WELL attended contest. Ric and his club members have done their usual steller job in having everything set up and running top notch...I can't wait until morning!
