Chris,
Planning at least one contest, maybe two, for this coming season. I asked Bob about dates but do you have any ideas for some good dates for a contest? Let me know.
Cheers,
Jeff Mueller

Happy Holidays!

Jeff glad to see you jump back in the saddle. I did not get to fly at any IMAC events as of last year and only attended 1 for 1 day. Grab your dates the NC region will fill up fast in 07'

Bob thank you for the date update. I know several people in the area that are wanting to get started in IMAC and I think the judging school is the best place to start..

Help! Re: NC Judging school?

Can anybody suggest a hotel/motel where everyone stays at for the Judging seminar?

I live in Mississauga ON Canada and don't know the area.

Thanx in advance.

Jim,
There are a few places close to the field but their the pits and you will have to go north more toward town the get some good food anyway. The AMA website has locations and phone numbers of where to stay.

They are on this page:

http://www.modelaircraft.org/events/

I think I stayed at the Holiday In Express ( I flew much smarter the next day!!)

It seems like it is really far away and Waaaay over on the other side of town....
but it really is only about 10 or 15 minutes away.....
and all the services are over on that side of town....

I may just camp at the field this year...

Thanx for the responses guys.

I was aware of the AMA website and their list of hotels but I was wondering if there was any one place everyone flocked to or if someone could recomend a specific hotel/motel, after staying there themselves in previous years.

Bob - Brian Facey and I are going. Perhaps the three of us could travel together. We can talk more at the Chapter 401 Mid-Winter get together or call me.
