Well Julius I am going to be flying a similar 35% EA/CHP/PP 300S airframe as last year. Last years airplane bit the dust when the crappy built up wing exploded. Aerotech is cutting me a set of foamies for it as we speak and I am recovering the whole thing. Unfortunately I just found out I will be unable to make the farm club contest. It sucks as I was looking forward to it.

Andy, sorry to hear you won't make it.
You can always drop in anytime you want, I will let you fly my Yak, of course then you will have to have one.

Nice plane. I finished a Carden 35% Extra a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately just before all the bad weather hit and so I haven't been able to test fly it. The good news is that this is easily the longest I've owned an undamaged plane. Hopefully sometime before the El Paso contest the weather will clear and I can fly it.

I hold you to that. I will be coming down for a couple of days at the end of February or early March.

Rick,

I noticed that several potential events shown in this thread aren't listed on the IMAC Schedule of events. Some of them were probably tentative when this list was made. Are you able to confirm that Houston- Crosby, Abilene, and Kingsbury are not going to happen? They are not showing on the IMAC schedule.

Thanks,
Dean

Dean, Houston I haven't heard from yet. Abilene is getting it cleared by the club, so they are in the process. Kingsbury is the same way. They are getting approval through their club. Shreveport I believe is doing the same thing.

If we don't get a break from the weather, there won't be any reason to have unknowns at the early contests. Just flying the known rounds will be a big enough unknown. Our weatherman is predicting the next artic blast will be here Friday night/Saturday morning. Just in time to ruin another weekend.
