Default Who's going to Odessa

I'm planning on rolling in early Sat. morning. Who else is planning on going??

Will there be practice flights in the AM on Sat??

What time is the pilot's meeting going to be at??

Thanx and looking forward to seeing everyone.

Ed

You should have time for a practice flight. I do not know for sure when the pilot's meeting will start, but it seems like we normally try to get people together around 8:30 or so. The main runway is North/South and pilots face east, so early morning flights can be tricky. If the wind allows, you might consider using the NE/SW runway or at least practicing east/west.

AJ has been practicing a lot lately. I'm thinking about attaching a buddy cord to my radio and giving him the other end. Even if all he did was land for me, it would be nice to end a contest with the same prop I started with and to have my landing gear in the same position and angle as when I started.

That's a great idea Rick. I seem to have the same problem. I think I will get one of the others to land my plane next contest!! The rules allow it too.
