Sorry to hear the news. Best wishes from the Tulsa bunch. Has anyone stayed at the Motel 6 just off hwy 20? Is it safe? What part of Abilene is the bad side?

You'd be better off staying on the Eastern side of town. There is a Best Western and LaQuinta at the turnoff to the field. There are several other national chains further east on the interstate, such as a Holiday Inn Express. A local chain, The Whitten, is reasonably priced and is well-run. Their interstate location is close to the field. Rick Strange |

All parts of Scabilene are the bad side! Kidding of course. The Best Western, La Quinta, HI Express, and Whitten are all on I-20 closest to the field. See you there. |
