Hey Dan since you quite can I count on you shaking more on the sticks? LOL I need all the help I can get if I'm gonna beat you. Well due to all the great feedback I cancled the Motel6 reservations and found a great deal at the Whitten Expo location. There are two Whitten hotels, the other is Whitten University. The University location wanted $65/night and the Expo gave it too me for $56/night. Thats only $16 more than the Motel6 and looks really nice from all the pictures. The reviews on Yahoo were good for both locations. The University location is closer to the feild but its not like Abilene is that big a town anyway. Thanks to all.

| It's official, thanks Verne... ![]() |
Looks like I'll be there. My buddy Nick was looking for a traveling partner and I had to cancel my other plans for this weekend, so it sounds like a perfect plan! This will be my second IMAC event ever, so nobody laugh at me... BTW: Hopefully no one gets offended that I have to fly my old Pattern plane, my motor on my QQ Yak has some issues I can't get resolved in time for the contest. I'll be using my only other plane I have flying at the moment. Looking forward to seeing everyone there, I'll be the short fat dude with no hair ![]()

Scott, I hope the flood didn't do to much damage to your house........ Oh by the way. What's this Dan keeps talking about you going to be sporting a bald head? Bobby- I keep forgetting your in Mississippi!!!! I had to deliver two boats out to Alabama last week. I sat in a hotel room with nothing to do for half a day. ![]() I'll have to keep you in mind the next time my work has another boat delivery going out your way. Ok, who has the results? |

Thanks go out to James Johnson, the Abilene RC Society, and the City of Abilene for hosting a great event. Dan, Rick, and Eddie - you guys did a good job in helping keep things flowing. James, please thank whoever was responsible for the killer BBQ Saturday night and the concessions throughout the contest. Looking forward to another Abilene contest next year, Dean |

I tried to look on the IMAC website just now but it's down . Any update on the finals?
And Bobby, since when did you start looking at how you finish? You know people like "you and me" don't have anything to prove. It takes a true man to LET all the others take a higher position on the ranks. They need that. You keep it up! And know that I'm proud of you taking the higher road. Such unselfish acts of maturity your displaying is seldomly seen now a days................... bean_laughing_md_wht.gif | |||||||||||||||
